Covid-19 : A new organisation

Since 17th March, we have been confronted with a totally new situation worldwide. The government has established strict rules and a lock down to fight against the Covid-19. Facing this situation, Pharmanager Ingredients has prepared a new protocol to ensure the continuity of the company’s activity and delivery service, as well as the safety of our employees and partners. Evaluating the risks in order to take into consideration all the State’s Health’ recommendations, our QHSE manager has set up new measures adapted to our activity. We have established a business continuity plan that brings together all the measures taken for each function within the company and which guarantees the health and safety of employees and our products.

In this respect, we have reduced the staff on our site to a minimum, in order to ensure the shipment of orders with reasonable delivery times. The rest of the team reorganised into home working until 1st June, and continued to handle customer requests with the same dynamism and efficiency that characterises us. Of course, all these new changes have not been without difficulties, especially on the family level. By having an organisation oriented towards goodwill and common sense, we have been able to stay on course thanks to our commitment and mutual help between the employees. During the lock down, none of our customers were put out of business and we have honoured all our secured ingredients’ contracts.

Since the return of the entire team to the office, we have adopted a new organisation by reorganising the offices, with adapted equipment available to the team for prevention and safety (hydroalcoholic solutions, information posters, disinfectant products, gowns, gloves, visors and masks). It is crucial to continue all these efforts as the threat is still here.
