Detailed description

Palmetto Serenoa repens, also known as dwarf palm, is a shrub belonging to the Arecaceae family, native to the subtropical southeastern United States and widely cultivated in parts of North America.

Historically, Native Americans were known to use saw palmetto fruit for urinary tract health and reproductive organs.

Palmetto berry extract, rich in various fatty acids and phytosterols, is now widely used in Europe for its benefits on prostate health and hair loss. Indeed, numerous studies have reported Serenoa repens to be effective in contributing to the health of the lower urinary tract.
