Palmetto, Serenoa repens, also known as dwarf palm, is a shrub belonging to the Arecaceae family native to the southeastern United States. Palmetto berries (extract) are rich in various fatty acids and phytosterols. They are used for their benefits for urinary tract and prostate health, as well as hair loss.

Palmetto Serenoa repens, also known as dwarf palm, is a shrub belonging to the Arecaceae family, native to the subtropical southeastern United States and widely cultivated in parts of North America.
Historically, Native Americans were known to use saw palmetto fruit for urinary tract health and reproductive organs.
