Challenges met every day
Our value proposition is the creation of a range of plants and plant extracts, as well as technical, regulatory and marketing support for our customers.
But our mission faces many challenges. Medicinal plants are traditionally part of our diet, supporting our health, and in France, 60% of food supplements contain plants. Today, the challenge we all face together at Pharmanager Ingredients is to be able to supply these plants and extracts to healthcare manufacturers, while complying with quality, health and regulatory requirements and guaranteeing supplies.

A subsidiary in China to control everything
In 2005, a 100% Pharmanager Group subsidiary was created, headed by Xuan Gao, to develop ingredient projects using raw materials endemic to China. The aim is to implement R&D projects on a pilot and industrial scale with our partners.
China, with its history and traditional medicine, has botanical resources that are particularly well-suited to dietary supplement applications. We work closely and intelligently with our subsidiary and our partners, to ensure that our ingredients comply fully with our quality requirements, comply with European regulations and, above all, meet our customers’ needs.
ESFRI: A short, traceable and, quite simply, coherent supply chain.
A unique approach! The ESFRI network, created in 2015, is the result of a unique partnership between 3 experts pooling their skills. The principle remains that of “saying what we do, and doing what we say”, particularly when it comes to traceability, safety and control… the better to do it!

Pharmanager Development
We would be remiss if we did not mention our sister company, Pharmanager Development, which supports us with regulatory assessments, scientific justifications, and interactions with relevant local authorities regarding our ingredients. Regulatory compliance is no longer a step to be taken at the end of the development process but must instead be initiated at the very beginning of the formulation ideation phase. This ensures that our customers can confidently use our ingredients in their formulations and marketing strategies across various markets.
ITEIPMAI: A long-standing partner for our analyses
A partner from the very start of the Pharmanager Ingredients adventure, ITEIPMAI and its control laboratory support us in the phytochemical analysis of the plants we use for our extracts and Premium products.
