- Its expertise in meeting customers’ needs by offering natural plant-based ingredients, developed by R&D with scientific, marketing and regulatory support.
- The partnership for the production of these ingredients.

But what about the many ingredients that originate in China?
Why set up a subsidiary in China?
In 2005, Pharmanager Group set up its own 100% subsidiary, Shanghai Health and Beauty (SHB), to develop ingredient projects using raw materials endemic to China.
Pharmanager Ingredients does not trade. We always think in terms of traceability or controlled products, according to our protocol and the requirements defined by our R&D and quality departments. Trading from China to Europe often results in a poor image, due to misunderstandings and, in particular, “ephemeral/opportunistic relationships” based solely on attractive prices… Our approach and approach are the complete opposite of this.
Objective
Our aim is to be able to control all our ingredients, from the collection of plant raw materials, through production, qualification and transport, to receipt in France. We want to reassure our customers of our mastery of these productions by considering :
- Your need to secure stocks of these strategic ingredients for the design of your products.
- Regulatory and marketing compliance in Europe.
- Long-term anticipation and programming of production to maintain the industry and its sustainability.
The strength of a group
We need a team in China that is fully integrated into the Pharmanager Ingredients organization in France. It ‘ s a “group” approach, not an “individual” business unit approach. So, SHB brings us its knowledge, skills and know-how, and helps us share and understand the culture and operating methods in China.
