Detailed description

Galega, Galega officinalis, a member of the Fabaceae family, is native to temperate regions of Europe and Asia. Its flowering tops have long been used in phytotherapy to support metabolic functions and contribute to general well-being.

This plant contains a variety of bioactive compounds, including flavonoids, alkaloids (galegine), saponins and hydroxycinnamates. These components are responsible for its galactogenic effect, but also help protect cells against free radicals and promote natural glycemic balance mechanisms.
