Glucosamine is a substance produced naturally by the body. It is present in almost all human tissues, particularly cartilage. Exogenous glucosamine, derived from shrimp co-products, is known for its action on joint comfort.

Detailed description
Glucosamine(2-amino-2-deoxy-β-d-glucopyranose) is a substance naturally produced by the body from glucose and used in the synthesis of glycoproteins and glycosaminoglycans. It is present in almost all human tissues, and in the highest concentrations in cartilage.
Our Glucosamine is obtained by treating and processing the unused parts of crustaceans, mainly shrimp or prawns (by heading and shelling), which generates by-products (heads, shells, tails) that we valorize. The shrimps used to produce our glucosamines are caught in the North-East China Sea, more specifically in the Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces.
