How does RECOVERA® work?
RECOVERA® acts synergistically with GLP-1 receptors*
RECOVERA® helps control blood glucose levels thanks to its polysaccharides and polyphenols, which prevent dietary carbohydrates from being broken down into monosaccharides and reduce glucose absorption in the intestine. In addition, these active compounds have a direct effect on pancreatic beta cells, thereby promoting insulin release and consequently supporting the control and maintenance of normal blood sugar levels after food intake.
RECOVERA® may act synergistically with GLP-1 receptor agonists by enhancing receptor expression and insulin secretion, offering a natural, complementary approach to glycemic control and potentially augmenting glucose homeostasis.

The prickly pear(Opuntia ficus-indica) is an emblematic plant of arid zones. It is cultivated in Latin America and the Mediterranean basin. Traditionally, nopal has been used for its multiple benefits, particularly in relation to carbohydrate metabolism and weight control. Its cladodes and fruit skins are valued for their wealth of bioactive compounds. RECOVERA® is the only prickly pear extract that combines both cladodes and fruit peels. In vivo, We observed a significant improvement in blood glucose levels by combining the cladodes and the fruit peel¹. In an extract, combining both parts of the plant (50/50) demonstrates a synergistic effect compared to using each part individually².
