ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 certification

Since January 2021, Pharmanager Ingredients has obtained dual ISO certification: ISO 22000: 2018 (Food safety management systems) and ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality management systems).

Achieving ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 certification was the result of team efforts for over a year. It would not have been possible without everyone’s involvement and commitment.

“Thank you to all the team for your wholehearted dedication to this major project!”

The certification process, initiated in late 2019, aimed to improve customer satisfaction. Such improvement required us to implement better internal organisation with monitoring of new targets each year. It is also reflected in our commitment to the quality and safety of the food ingredients in our range.

Pharmanager Ingredients has always been dedicated to maximizing customer satisfaction. These new certifications are fully in line with our company’s identity and values. This is evidenced by our customer satisfaction survey conducted at the end of 2020. The results show an excellent satisfaction rate with Pharmanager being described as “a supplier of high quality ingredients”.

“We use the most-to-date, recognised tools to offer a top quality service, satisfy your needs, and ensure your continued trust.”

Since Pharmanager Ingredients was founded in 2004, continuous improvement has always been a driving force. It allows us to optimise our internal organisation and get all our employees involved. The implementation of these two Management Systems formalises and gives momentum to this process with regard to key points:

  • Hazard analysis and control (HACCP study: Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
  • Control of our suppliers and hence of our supply chain
  • Traceability control
  • Opening up boundaries between departments for a 360° view of all activities
  • Recognition of our expertise as a leader in quality functional ingredients
  • Proof that our organisation meets the requirements of these two standards

Our dual certification – ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 – also sends a strong positive signal to all our customers in terms of:

  • Guaranteeing the quality and safety of our products in line with current regulations
  • Trust and transparency
  • Sustaining quality within our company

About ISO* 22000

ISO 22000 is an international food safety standard that sets out uniform performance criteria. It guarantees safe production processes and an effective management system in line with current regulations.

First published in 2005, it was updated in 2018 to take into account the latest trends and demands from the food sector. Obtaining this certification shows the company’s ability to control the hazards it may encounter in its business and ensure that its food products are totally safe.

About ISO* 9001

It defines the main criteria and requirements to implement for a quality management system that is part of a continuous improvement process. The aim is also to optimise company organisation to offer products and services that meet customer demand.
