Detailed description
Lady’s mantle, Alchemilla vulgaris, is a perennial member of the Rosaceae family, widely distributed in Europe and Asia. It is traditionally used to support feminine well-being and promote digestive balance.
This plant is rich in bioactive compounds such as tannins, phenolic acids (notably ellagic acid and chlorogenic acid), and flavonoids like quercetin. These molecules confer antioxidant properties, helping to protect cells against oxidative stress and maintain a healthy metabolic balance.
Traditionally used for its role in menstrual well-being, alchemilla is also recognized for its astringent and soothing properties, useful for supporting digestive functions. It is also used topically to promote skin repair thanks to its protective effects on tissues.
